UTAH
BRYCE & ZION NATIONAL PARKS
October 31 - November 5, 2010
$1,895     Deposit:  $400
Airport:  Las Vegas, Nevada

Bryce Canyon and Zion National Parks offer some of the grandest scenery in North America.  However, they are not easy places to photograph.  Visitors are dwarfed by the immensity of the granite monuments that rise above the Virgin River Canyon in Zion, while the fantastic shapes and colors of the hoodoos in Bryce Canyon almost overwhelm a photographer with too many options.

We’ll be giving hands-on instruction on how to compose dramatic landscapes in the midst of such staggering scenery.  Join us for five days of exploration and photography in these very different locations.

With any luck at all, we’ll have scarlet maples (yes, there are maples in the west) to play with in the shadow of Zion’s monoliths.  A few red leaves can work wonders in the cascading waters of the Virgin River.  In Bryce Canyon, we’ll be experimenting with the shapes and colors of the rock formations, as well as capturing the quintessential grand scenic.

If you've ever dreamed of photographing
some of the most magnificent views in the National Park System, this could be the
tour for you.  We look forward to sharing
the wonders of this region with you.
