Basic Tour Information

Adventure Photography groups are kept small to ensure you get the personal attention you want and deserve as well as a quality shooting experience.  Tours are limited to a maximum of 6 people  with 2 skilled instructors accompanying each tour.

How Skilled Do You Need To Be?

Our tours are ideal for photographers of all levels.  We provide patient, enthusiastic instruction for beginning and intermediate photographers.  Advanced shooters are able to add considerably to their files while enjoying a pleasant vacation.  If some members of the group are more adventuresome than others, we will split the group in two, and a leader will accompany each party.

What Is Included:

Lodging:  Your trip fee includes lodging in accommodations that are modern and comfortable and close to the action, photography-wise.  You'll be working hard to get those great shots,  and you deserve a nice place to stay.  Most of the places we stay are also at least a little unique because of their location, atmosphere or both.  For example, we have two tours where we fill up an entire bed & breakfast, giving us a pleasant and comfortable home-away-from-home experience.  Lodging is double occupancy unless otherwise noted; inquire for the single supplement.

Transportation:  We do the driving while you sit back and relax.  This includes transportation to and from a major airport and during the tour. 

Meals:  Your trip fee includes breakfast and dinner for each day of the tour, and we try to eat well.  Meals are planned around the best shooting times, and we anticipate burning lots of calories pushing shutter buttons.  Our meals will reflect that as well as featuring local specialties, such as fresh seafood in Florida.  We also carry snacks and drinks in the van, just in case the photography is so fine we lose track of time.

Critiques:  Participants are encouraged to bring a sample of their work for a helpful, professional critique and/or just to share with the group.      

Registration, Payment & Cancellation Policies:

We must receive the listed deposit before we can hold a spot for a trip.  Full payment is due 90 days before departure.  After you have registered for a tour we will send you additional information specific to that tour.  Please make all checks out to Cathy or Gordon ILLG.

If you cancel prior to 90 days before departure, we will refund all payments minus a $50 cancellation fee.  If you cancel 60 to 89 days before departure, we will refund all fees minus your deposit.  If you cancel fewer than 60 days from departure, you will be liable for the full trip cost unless we can fill your spot. 

If a tour is canceled for any reason, a full refund will be given.  Adventure Photography is not responsible for non-refundable air fares.  We always recommend trip insurance.
